Faith experienced at an early age is the foundation for all other growth. The good news we share with our children has the power to transform lives and revitalize communities. So, let’s prepare the ground for a new tomorrow, send down roots anchored in love. Let’s sow in them seeds of mercy and plant them by the river of life. This curriculum is a great resource for children from early childhood to junior youth.
The Shine curriculum takes your children through important themes and characters in the Bible in three years.
Fall
Every sparkhouse project begins with a spark—an idea, an inspiration, a glowing reminder of what the Spirit of God is up to.
Winter
Follow Advent and Jesus’ birth stories, followed by stories from the lectionary gospel for that year.
Spring
“Shalom modules” will focus on an aspect of the biblical vision of shalom, which includes peace with self, creation, others, and God.
Summer
Highlight themes or stories within the Old and New Testaments.
